What is your Statement of Faith?

As an affiliate of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), we invite you to visit their webpage on “What We Believe” and discover how we practice our faith.

What is your mission statement?

What in the world is our mission?

Acts 1:8  Jesus said to his disciples: “You’ll receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (NIV)

“As men, women and children united in faith and worship by the word of God, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod exists to make disciples throughout the world for time and for eternity, using the Gospel to win the lost for Christ and to nurture believers for lives of Christian service-all to the Glory of God.”

Our mission?  The world!

We have a global presence and strive for a local impact.

What is the format of your typical service?

Our Sunday services follow the traditional orders of service in the front of The Lutheran Hymnal.  We are currently using Hymnsoft software for the musical accompaniment.  Hymns are selected from The Lutheran Hymnal to compliment the message for each service.  Scripture readings are included in the bulletin for parishioners to follow along.
Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted and offered a bulletin.  We would welcome you to sign the guest register either before or after the service, as time allows.
Ushers are available to answer any questions that you may have.
At the conclusion of the service, ushers will excuse by row, allowing an orderly and relaxed exit to greet the pastor.
We look forward to meeting you and welcome you to worship with us again in the near future!

Will I feel welcome?

We are a quaint and tight-knit congregation. This means that you will be noticed if you are new, but welcomed like you are already part of the family.

Can I bring my children?

We openly welcome children. Children are the voice of a growing church, but there is a parent’s room available, if desired.

Do I need to wear a mask?

We welcome anyone to worship in their own comfort; masks are optional and there is space to social distance if you feel the need.
